The Chester Hill North Public School difference
A world of opportunities
At Chester Hill North Public School, every child has the chance to shine and explore their passions. Students participate in inter-school sports competitions, debating, public speaking, Opera House Choir, Pulse Alive Dance and Choir, Premier’s Spelling Bee & Sporting Challenge, Maths Olympiad, and Maths Explorer, giving them rich opportunities to showcase their talents.
Learning goes beyond the classroom with a wide range of programs such as:
- Amplify Music Program and The Song Room – igniting creativity and a love of the arts
- Zing Gymnastics & Concert Program – building confidence and performance skills
Our evidence-based focus on explicit teaching of reading and rich mathematical tasks means students not only excel in competitions but also develop deep understanding, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Every day begins with Life Skills Go check-in circles, helping students build resilience, manage emotions, and connect with their peers. Combined with our restorative practices, these opportunities empower students to grow as confident, capable, and respectful learners
Our diverse community
We are proud of our vibrant and inclusive school community. Our students come from many different backgrounds, with languages such as Arabic, Vietnamese, Dari, Urdu, and Mandarin spoken at home. This diversity is a strength we celebrate through cultural events, classroom learning, and daily interactions.
To ensure every student thrives, we provide:
- Aboriginal Education Programs – honouring culture, knowledge, and history
- High Potential & Gifted Education (HPGE) – extending learning for students with exceptional talents
- Inclusive Education Unit (3 Autism classes) – ensuring equity and support for all learners
- On-site Auburn Networks Hearing Team – providing specialist support for students with hearing needs
Our partnerships strengthen our community, with programs like Karitane Community Hub and Playgroup (Partnerships Made for Parents), The Smith Family, BBB, and Top Blokes, all providing valuable services to families.
Together, we are building well-rounded global citizens who value respect, empathy, and connection.
