Our extra-curricular highlights
Communication and Critical Thinking
Students can develop their critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills through various interschool competitions and public speaking opportunities. At Chester Hill North Public School, they also have the opportunity to showcase their talents in Premier’s Spelling Bee, Maths Olympiad, Maths Explorer, Chess Club, and multiple Public speaking competitions, building confidence in both academic and creative arenas.
Our students represent the school at local and state events and benefit from programs that strengthen resilience, problem-solving, and collaboration. These experiences not only prepare students for success in competitions but also help them grow as confident, respectful, and capable communicators.
Creative and performing arts
Our drama, music, and art programs give students the chance to be creative, express themselves, and build confidence. At Chester Hill North Public School, students can take part in Amplify Music Program, The Song Room, Opera House Choir, Pulse Alive Dance and Choir, and the Zing Gymnastics & Concert Program, alongside concerts, art shows, and drama activities.
These opportunities not only showcase their talents in music, dance, drama, and visual arts but also nurture teamwork, self-expression, and a lifelong love of the arts
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn, and try new things. At Chester Hill North Public School, these experiences include excursions, incursions, outdoor learning opportunities, and partnerships with local preschools and high schools that help strengthen transitions and broaden horizons.
These activities build confidence, spark curiosity, and show students how their classroom learning connects to the wider world, while also encouraging independence and teamwork.
